※ 비교급으로 사용 시

• -er ~ than: ~ 보다 (둘 비교)

• -est ~ among: ~들 보다 (셋 이상 비교)

▶︎ Yes, I got a higher score on the test than the last one.

 

A: 축하드려요! 그럼 이제 뭐 하실 건가요?

A: Congratulations! and then what do you from now?

▶ Congratulations! and then what do you do from now on?

※ What do you do? 직업이 뭐니? 라는 개념으로 주로 사용

※ What do you do for a living? 직업을 물을 때 주로 사용

※ What is your plan? 일반 적일 때

 

▶︎ Good for you! What are you going to do?

※ Good for you는 톤에 따라 진심으로 축하하거나 비아냥 거리게 해석될 수 있음

 

B: 아직 목표 점수를 얻지 못해서 더 공부해야 해요.

B: I should need a more study because I didn't get the score of my goal.

※ should, need 둘 다 해야하는(필요로하는) 의미를 갖고 있으므로 같이 사용하지 않음

※ I should study more ~

※ I (do)* need to study more ~ or I (do)* need a study more

 

▶ I need to study more since I haven't achieved my goal yet in the test.

▶ You will get what you want.

※ 원했던 사실을 말해야 하므로 현재형 want를 사용
